How Do We Work?

Love for St. Louis helps fund mental health services for kids, adolescents, and veterans in need of this type of work. We help fund a minimum of 12 counseling sessions for those in need of these types of services. Our focus is for those suffering from Autism, Anxiety & Depression, ADHD, Suicidal Ideation, Mental Disorders, Crisis or PTSD, and Substance Abuse. We are able to achieve this mission by partnering with ”licensed” mental health specialist throughout the greater St. Louis area – this currently includes Jefferson County, South County, St. Charles County, and St. Louis City. Through these established partnerships I have negotiated significantly reduced rates for these LCPs to perform mental health services for those in need. The sole purpose of the reduced rates is to stretch the dollar and maximize results by allowing more people to get the help they desperately need. Negotiating the counseling fees has also allowed me to help those individuals that don’t have the benefit of health insurance or for those with Medicaid or Medicare – which typically have a several month waiting list to get in for services. All funding comes from merchandise sales, donations, sponsorships, and advertising revenue.
